HOME - Thu, Jan. 31, 2008: OPEN anniversary year with Oratory kids 6PM Special Goodnight & Prayer in gym
- Sat, Feb. 9, 2008: Don Bosco Friends of Rye-Cocktail Party, 6-8PM, Learning Center
- Sun, May 11, 2008: Blessing of the "Bosco Trees" on the corner of Don Bosco Place & Beech Street (5 birch trees: 1 tree=20 years of DBCC service. The 5th tree will take us to DBCC's centennial in 2028.) Dedication is in honor of all Port Chester's kids and families.
- Sat, Nov. 1, 2008: the grand "Welcome Home" to DBCC-Open House & Celebration
- 6:00PM-Midnight: "Welcome Home" open invitation to all
- Entertainment: Alma Solano, Port Chester Senior Citizen Chorus, PCHS Marching Band, Mariachi Band (10PM-Midnight)--Gymnasium
- Food: free all night light snacks & beverages, Cafeteria
- Dedication: Memorial to Nick Fusco-Board Of Directors Conference Room
- Dedication of newly refurbished DB theater stage area (curtains, lights, etc.)
- Re-Dedication of all DBCC Memorial Plaques
- Public honors to the families of past DBCC Presidents, Board Members, Br. Anselmo Club Members, DB sports teams, founding families of DBCC, the Italian community, public officials-Villager, County, & State, etc.
- Sat, Jan.31, 2009: Mass of Thanksgiving & Dinner Dance
- 4:15 HRC Mass-parish feast of DB & thanksgiving for 80 years of DBCC service
- Gala Dinner Dance
SCHOOL - Sat, April 12, 2008: Salesian Catechetical Workshop & Dinner for the Catholic Catechists of Port Chester-Children's Religious Education, Baptismal Preparation & RCIA, 6-10PM, DBCC Activity Center-Bilingual Event
- Sat, June 21, 2008: Symposium on Family Living in 21st Century USA-presentations, Q&A, & light meal for parents & kids-8-11:30PM, Gym & Cafeteria-Spanish Language Event
- Sept. 2008: Dedication & Blessing of the new DB Learning Center

- 6-10PM: Rosary in DBCC, Activity Center
- 10PM-6AM: Rosary in HRC
- 6-7:30AM: Breakfast sponsored by DBCC in HRC Hall/Basement
- Sun, Oct 5, 2008: Parish Feast of Lady of the Rosary
- Following the outdoor Mass at Edgewood Park the final decade of the Rosary to be recited in front of DBCC main doors
- Blessing of newly restored DBCC facade
- Unveiling & Blessing of new signage
- Fri, Dec. 12, 2008: Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, 7:30PM Gymnasium
- Dedication of newly refurbished DB theater stage area (curtains, lights, etc.)
- Blessing of full-size replica of the image Our Lady of Guadalupe (permanent home on rear wall of DB stage)
PLAYGROUND - Sat, Jan. 26, 2008: annual DB Feast at the Salesian Oratory-DB Boys & Girls Club, 12:30PM

- 10:30AM after bi-school Mass at HRC grades 5-8 gather in DB gym for Welcome & Prayer

- Sat, March 29, 2008: the re-establishment of the annual DON BOSCO INVITAIONAL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT, 9AM-9PM
- Teams to be invited from a select group of Salesian sites from the Eastern USA for this first year
- Wed, Sept 24, 2008: Opening of Oratory for 2008-2009 school year
- Dedication & Blessing of newly renovated Junior Center & Game Room, 2nd floor
- Sat, Jan. 24, 2009: Bosco Fest-Oratory Members, 12-6PM-Food, Fun, & Fantastic Music
